Finding Joy in the Present Moment

Jesus taught us to not worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own. Buddhism teaches us to be fully present in the here and now. Both point us to the same truth: joy is found in this very moment, not in the next milestone.

Often, we think happiness is somewhere “out there,” in some future success or ideal scenario. But joy is available when we fully embrace now—whether it’s a simple meal, a conversation, or even a moment of silence.

Motivation for today:

Pause, take a breath, and notice something good in this moment—right here, right now.
